News
Hi folks,
This is my first blog entry on this page. If you don't know me: I am the gamedesigner of OpenAnno. I want to give you a small status update wich tells you what we have done since Christmas. The most important innovation is that we have started coding the free trader. The ship could drive around a little for now, but we are working hard to release a new stable release in january or february including a simple free trader. We'd also fixed a few small bugs in the code.
We've got news from our sound section, too. From our next release on, we'll have a background voice in english and german. The speaker has recorded a few sound samples. You can find them in our branch reposity.
There are also news for our Linux fans! From now on you can get OpenAnno via your Debian installer. Visit our download section for further information. But attention: The release you can find there is a latest build. It's not the official 2008.01 release!
Ok, that's it for today and for 2008. But one important thing left. The whole team wishes you a happy new year 2009! Revisit our website soon.
So long,
André

The OpenAnno Team wishes all visitors happy christmas days.
A little Status Update
Also we are proud to announce that another musician has found the way to us. The first great arrangement of him you can find here in our music section. It's "Beware the Ship's Kobold!" by Tobias Escher. Additional to this Nihathrael and kaschte worked hard to serve you random trees. So that when you build a lumberjacks hut in the future there will be different types of trees coming with it. Check out this new feature by downloading the latest SVN snapshot.
With best wishes Nightraven and the whole team!
